Week, almost gone. We have had wind, rain, , ore wind, freezing temperatures and a few gorgeous days between. Several hard freezes have brought a lot of leaves off the trees. What the freezing temps did mot get, the wind did. We are expecting an arctic cold front tonight with wind advisory beginning at 3 AM. That ought to do it…

This is the same tree I posted a week ago. Sad to see it go so fast. With all of the moisture we have had this year, the trees were heavily laden with leaves, so fall color was going well. Last week the colors really popped, and then we had a hard freeze. Tonight’s forecasted weather (especially the wind) will probably end this fall’s shooting. Oj well, there is always next year.
